How are BG light switches perceived among electricians?

On the whole , I generally like Click accessories, however from any manufacturer I detest flat plate ones as walls here are seldom actually flat and they don't sit right . I always council my clients to avoid them in the older rural properties.

I fitted a Click FCU (flat plate ) can't think of the range off hand right now ,it lasted a week before the switch went wrong . It was the feed to U/f heat mat with that tacky plastic back plate that the decorative cover clicks onto imo it's just not rigid enough to prevent flexing . Switched...

    Stolen

Let the manufacturers of the tester know then if it comes in for repair they can tell you . I seem to remember that they are digitally serial numbered as well so getting rid of outer numbers doesn't remove all traces ! . Good luck with tracking the scumbags down ,not that anything happens to them 👎

Continuity / Ohms testing help / Short ?

Cost of resin filled torpedoes to joint isn't cheap either x2 in your case minimum . Not a fan of the shark type gel filled ones had to take some of the smaller ones out [can't remember the brand ] of a hotel paved walkway as they failed and kept causing tripping faults . They had been fitted...

    Robbing B@st**ds

Hi, I am pretty sure that group used to try and recruit self employed registered sparks to deal with their callouts ect , they provide the lead then you have to bill their charge rates. I suppose then you get paid a percentage by them . I,d rather volunteer to pull tesco trolleys out of a Canal...

    Downlight spacing

Wish I had a pound for every badly placed hole, and multiples thereof drilled through joists I've seen 😢. Op could look on YouTube to find correct spacing and drilling of joists for cables or buy an onsite guide or other publication that exist . TBH why don't you just put one 6 or 7 watt led...
