    This is how it's connected outside. Hopefully sombody may know if it looks correct. The terminals on the left are from the armoured cable coming in and the ones on the right are going to the indoor aircon  blowers/units thanks.  The picture is too big to upload sorry

    I'm reading the voltage with one of these multi meters. The voltage was read using the contact probed and not the clamp. Thanks

    I'm not too sure about the ins and outs of the payments as I didn't have anything to do with that. I've just come to help him out and try to get this working and find out what's happened.  Could it be anything to do with how it's connected at the problem end? Like a bad earth or something? Thanks

    Hi Andy, there is power going into the cable at the start and it's a continuous cable with no joins, when disconnected at the aircon end it reads 36v yet at the start of the cable it reads 230/240v but when connected up there's nothing.
