Bulb checked and working in another sockets. Adapter so simple there seems little to go wrong and checked that the G9 pins connect through electrically to the E27 base a screw sides. Also bent up base contact to make sure that bulb was screwed in to touch this.
I have a pendant lamp that came with a 28w G9 halogen. Changed this for a 5w G9 LED but unsurprisingly not brighter. Therefore tried a G9 to E27 adapter, but a 9w E27 bulb doesn't work. What is going wrong?
