    By positive I mean to live wire going into the solenoid and by negative I mean the return.  I've checked online and found the solenoid I need is in stock at my local plumb centre.

    Yeah tested voltage to solenoid 235.6v going in via positive connection and nothing coming out negative connection

    Hi all Where would I find a solenoid for a shower unit Gainsborough 2000x? I've come across a Gainsborough 2000x shower. Which is producing no water put is powerng up, checked online for advice it said it would be the solenoid and i had to test and replace. I tests the ohms and it's seems fine...
