Yes you could do that bud. I was trying to make it as understandable as possible for Corax in a written explanation without knowing what side of the switch actually had the link in it. 

That’s just me bud. I don’t like 3 cables in the same terminal on a switch, but yes you could have the 3 in L1 if that’s what floats your boat :)

No need to touch anything at the lights bud. Run a 3 core + earth from your existing switch over to your new switch. Isolate the circuit and then connect your existing feed (the one with the link) into a 3 port wago. From this take a cable to the common of the pir switch and to L1 of the strip...

You won’t have a voltage at the overnight storage supply until it turns on tonight. Have you checked the thermal overload and reset if necessary?

There is no issue in doing it the way you say depending on what is being plugged into the socket outlets and that the ring circuit has RCD protection. Loads over 2KW should have their own dedicated circuit.
