I'm thinking of getting a dimmable LED ceiling light with remote control, I'm just wondering how these things work? I'm guessing the receiver for the remote is embedded in the light fixture and the wall switch just acts as an on/off master switch?

Do the USB sockets need a deeper back box than standard sockets? I think I read that somewhere but may have got it wrong. Thanks all for the comments, appreciated!
