Solax Inverter not compatible with Fogstar Batteries, workaround or replace?

Indeed, this was a possible plan, but we've settled on getting Solax batteries instead. I know others (John comes to mind) have successfully coaxed two inverters to play together nicely, but I really didn't want to go down that route in a new system.

Solax Inverter not compatible with Fogstar Batteries, workaround or replace?

Yes, they said "sorry, they're not compatible", which seemed pretty conclusive. I'm still curious about the AC coupled inverter route, but if that is too cumbersome we may have no choice but to get different batteries

Solax Inverter not compatible with Fogstar Batteries, workaround or replace?

Yes, that's what I thought too, until I read the Fogstar instructions that specifically say you cannot wire in series only parallel. Has anyone wired them in series, and if so how did it work out?

Solax Inverter not compatible with Fogstar Batteries, workaround or replace?

I guess the question is whether these DC voltage numbers are requirements or just suggested.

Solax Inverter not compatible with Fogstar Batteries, workaround or replace?

First thanks to everyone on this forum. I'm a newbie here (please forgive any glaring mistakes) and have learned a lot from all the discussions. I'm in the middle of a home solar installation - 19 Eurener 400W panels, Solax X1 G4 7.5kW hybrid inverter, Zappi, Eddi, and a 15kWh Fogstar battery...

PV Panels on a vertical wall

Bob, I've been trying to find an installer who will even entertain the idea (we have a big and unshaded wall that gets great sun). Lots of bluster about 'not sure it's possible, not sure it's allowed' etc. Please let us know what you decided to do with this, and how it worked out.

PV Panels on a vertical wall

Very creative solution, but I assume also not MCS compliant, right?
