    Jeepers! Makes mine sound so mild. The machine was off and isolated from mains. I have opened plenty of amps, TVs and other equipment containing large caps and known to stay well away and drain out with device isolated from mains. I guess I didn't expect it from a motor. Will do now! lesson...

    Also with the bleed resistor. I mentioned this to my boss. He reckons the motor cools should drain it. Not sure about that.
