Looking for "Hens Teeth" and/or "Unicorn Pooh"???

Perhaps Lampwise: https://www.lampwise.co.uk/75w-240v-63mm-gu10-halogen-spot-lamp.html They list it as an aluminium coated reflector, but then also describe it as dichroic, so not sure which type it actually is.

Can I remove this time switch (meter)?

Decades ago, when I briefly worked in a (coal-fired) power station, the generating sets were equipped with "barring gear" (I think that was the name) that turned the shafts round (slowly) when the generating sets were not running, to prevent bending of the shafts.

    Beko Oven tripping RCD

WIth a 6 month warranty, I can only assume it was not bought brand new from a reputable retailer, but instead is something else, such as an ex-demo model, or refurbished, or something? Which then leads me to think it has perhaps been standing unused for some time, accumulating moisture e.g. in...

    Minor electrical certificate

If you are sitting your BS7671 18th edition exam (or any others that ask about certificates) then I think you are going to have to give the correct name for the certificate/form - MEIWC - if asked. At least that was what I was taught when I did the 17th edition & the test & inspection exams.

Catch 22 Confused, Need a straight answer. NAPIT Requirements for Self Employed / Sole Trader

As mentioned, the schemes had to raise their entry standards (a couple of years ago, I think) and should all be aligned. They also became a bit more strict with the annual assessment, or at least officially they did - in practise that seems to vary between assessors, which you will only find...

    House purchase - old electrics

New CU All RCBO and surge protection? - YES More final circuits are better than fewer? - YES (within reason) I'd consider keeping separate supplies/circuits that: (a) are more liable to tripping at some point - e.g. outside electrics; CH boiler & controls. (b) would be inconvenient if something...

    Replacing a Consumer Unit. Industrial.

Yes, a full EIC should be completed, and whoever installs it would (normally) be signing this off. The only difference compared to a domestic consumer unit is that notification to Building Control won't be required, so you don't necessarily need to be a member of a CP scheme, just competent to...

4mm Radial Circuit using Wago 5-way?

If you are just powering IT equipment & similar, then 20A ought to be easily sufficient. But will you need heating in the winter & Aircon in the summer? If not now, perhaps when you realise it is too cold or too hot in the office? If so, I'd check for sure what the loading might be, before...

    Just saying Hello

Yes, I agree. I think the desire to drive traffic to generate ad revenue is to the detriment of the electrical content.

    Just saying Hello

I've been a regular elsewhere for more than a decade, but thought I'd try looking around at alternatives.
