    Thank you Geoff1946 for helping me. It wasn't charging, and I took it apart to test every component of it. I tested the rotor for shorts and resistance between the two commutators. It was good. Stator isn't shortened. Now I need to test the rectifier.

    Hello all, Can someone explain how to test this alternator stator with a multimeter? Is this a star or delta connection? I am a beginner in automotive electrical systems. Thanks in advance.
