    well i guess if he is replacing the db then you would be right to say it should be of dual rcd to comply or by means of all circuits protected by rcbo,s. but his original question was " does a single rcd comply with 17th edition ? " did'nt say he was replacing it. lol

    personally i would use rcbo,s and a main switch, under test and inspection it would be ok as long as all circuits are protected by the rcd and would therefore only be a code 4 on the report. ( this also depends of course on the method used, buried at less than 50mm etc.) but it also could be...
