    Help with a lighting fault please?

    i told him what was wrong and what i had done to try and find the fault. he told me to check all the connections and gave me a replacement fitting incase that was the issue. ill change the breaker and ill tell him a IR test needs to be done. if the IR is low how would i go about rectifyin it?

    na theres not at all. jus 2 vapour proof fittings and an EM bulkhead. the kitchens not very big at all, i think they use the windows 4 ventilation, not too sure

    the MCB is B6, i thought that and mentioned it to my manager n he said it wouldnt of been the issue. it has 2 twin flurescent fittings and an emergency bulkhead. is that enought 2 overload? unfortunately i dont have a clamp meter, what size MCB would u recommend? a C6 or maybe a B10? im not sure...

    there were no problems before the ceiling rose had been changed. maybe if i make the connections in the loft rather than in the fitting? the fitting may be crampin the connectors, cuz theres two cables in each connector at the minute. flex out from the connectors in the loft and into the fitting...
