    Hi, all, Just a quick question, if the downlights are fire rated then would i still require a fire hood to go over it, cause i've asked some sparkies and some say you should and some say they dont, so i just want to clear the air. Thanks Mac

    I think they are purchasing it from hammonds kitchens. I was going to use metal conduit because of the concrete floor, has anybody got any other ideas.

    im going to fit a sub board for the kitchen to power the hob and for lighting circuit, so yes it will be notifiable.The hob is going to be in the middle of the kitchen so going to have to route the cable through the floor.
