    IPAF??

    Yes IPAF lasts for five years so it is good price. If you were to hire a lifter from the hire company would you have to show proof of PAL card? only use mine for firms that provide lifters as never had to hire one myself. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

    Are Snickers Trousers Best?

    My first pair of snickers lasted me about 2 and a half years, the only reason I got a new pair was because they had faded from black to a mucky brown colour! you are best going to try them on first though before you buy, about 60 quid and knee pads about 25 quid but worth it!     BT incoming cable

    Advice on route to take to become an electrician

    Yea plasterers don't have to go and train for four years like the rest of us! If I were you mate like said previous best way would be to enrol at your local college on the electrical installation course. I think you can do 2330 L2 and 3 full-time in one year! Obviously 2330 is being phased out...

    I've never seen a data/fire alarm or whatever company do their own containment it's usually always down to the electrical contractors to provide it, there just the cable monkeys and like said by previous users they'll never use the cable routes you've installed, just usually cable tie it across...

    NVQ3, How many on here havn't got it?

    NVQ3, How many on here havn't got it?

    To be graded as an Electrician by the JIB you must have an NVQ L3. Unless your employed by a company you might get full electrician rate but if you sub contract usually they pay what your grade is or that's what seems on jobs I go on! Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
