100V speakers

Numb question but, can you just disconnect unwanted 100v speakers from an audio system and not affect the remaining speakers?... :coat

Yes you can, just make sure to leave 100 Volt line conductors terminated safe. (+50 volts deemed Low voltage circuit same as 230 V)

Pure PA.. MD has moved offices as he is getting a bit peed off with the ' will a colleague from the thrake conglommerating department please contact Human Resources.....' messages interrupting him managing things as managers do... :coat

Most PA speakers let you re-tap them so you could tap it to a lower output wattage, but he probably wants it gone completely.

Some systems do have EOL monitoring so just look out for that.

Be careful incase the speaker is linked into a recorded emergency evacuation message. Dont want to be making a balls up of that
