Hi Everyone

I have recently sat the inspecting and testing exam and started doing tests on my job, i had a question. On a TT system consumer board if the main switch is not a RCD and there is no 100mA RCD before the consumer board is it acceptable to use a split board with 30mA RCDs after the main switch. This would mean relying on the 30mA RCDs for fault protection and would this mean they are additional protection as well?

Many thanks in advance.

You have done the 2391, what do you think the answer is, and why? Where could a fault occur that it could not with an unfront RCD and what precations should you take against that?

We will let you know if you are on the right lines :)
