Hi,

Our house is quite new, so most of the light fittings are the 4 pin type. Now the idea i know is that we can therefore only use energy saving ones, im all up for that. BUT, i want to buy a bigger energy saving, globe shaped bulb and fit it. BUT i can only find stick ones for this fitting.

So the questions are:

Can i buy any 4 pin types which are globes? if so where from?

Can i buy an adapter to the 4 pin fitting to change it into a bayenete or a screw type?

Or will i have to replace the 4 pin for a different fitting altogether?

Thanks guys

Joel

Youll need to replace the lamp holder for a traditional type pendant or fitting and then use the type of cap lamps that you require.

hope thats helpful :D
