A way to get more business

I found this website: [Link Removed] , I had a call from this company about 2 weeks ago, they asked me to signup to the site and they would send me free leads for people who want work doing for any trade. Has anyone used this site before, I signed up as it seemed like it was worth a go, you dont pay until you decide to work with someone.

has anyone else signed up to this site yet?

ask yourself this - have you previously heard of them? no? chances are your potential customers wont have either

sounds a bit like rated people.com, personaly i would stay away. rated people contacted me, i signed up free and had a free lead, when at last a lead came i phoned up the customer and he said " who??? what?? ummmmm, oh that, whats your number and i may get back to you", may have cost me 6 quid for that call had it not been free!

if all work was done 'as a qualified electrician would', then he would have already issued EIC or MWC as necessary....

Qualified and registered are 2 different things.

you dont need to be registered to write a cert. if your qualified, your qualified to give EIC/MWC. in fact, you dont even need to be qualified to do this

That's a fair point, I guess if you got a couple of months free to try it out, it might be more appealing?
