Hi all

We moved into a new house about 6 months and there is an air vent in the bathroom which wasn't working. We took the cover off this afternoon and cleaned it up - it's an AXS100TR/NDX100T 230V - 50hz 16w unit.

It's obviously connected somewhere so how can I tell if it's on but not working, or not on at all? How would I fix this?

Any help gratefully received :)

Are there any unexplained switches outside the bathroom?  A lot of bathroom fans have an isolator switch for cleaning purposes.

Presumably you checked the blades are free to rotate when you cleaned it. Without any test equipment there is really nothing else you can check.

Fans tend not to last, so it could be live and just broken.

unless you can prove live and dead, I would suggest you don’t fiddle with it

Locked to prevent resurrection (Again)
