AM2 Applied Knowledge Exam

Section D of the AM2 is a one hour exam with questions based on:

- Hand tool use and care

- Health and Safety

- BS7671: Requirements of Electrical Installations

- Building Regulations

- Installation Techniques

- Single and Three-Phase Motors (control and overload protection)

- Overload and short-circuit protection

- Inspection, Testing and Fault Finding

What sort of questions are expected and how can I revise for this?

Questions are based on testing your underpinning knowledge and hence you are expected to have learnt all that is required in getting to this stage i.e. Level 3

Just review previously taught information on all the subjects listed.
