As the title says....

Does anyone have a HP printer that has ePrint capability???

I'm trying to print something from the "Quick forms" on printer menu and its constantly coming back with "Can't connect to the internet" or similar.. I cant even get on the HP quick forms website (pages) on my Android devices.... Our printer is a Photosmart C330 btw

So I was wondering if someone who has a similar printer could check if theirs works or if its more likely going to be a HP (website) problem.

I have one,

What do you mean by quickprint?

All I do with mine us print via wi-fi or the odd time I email stuff to it, never needed to use the HP website, :|

Quick forms is a built in browser on the printers LCD display that allows you to print different documents, posters, paper games etc...

I want to use it to print a calendar out.

So at the moment when I click on "quick forms" it just says that the printer cannot connect to the internet however I can print from any device without problem,,,, our internet is fine... I'm using it now... I've turned off ( and back on) both the printer and router and its still the same.

If I Google HP quick forms and follow the links then the pages won't load either...

Can't be windoze,,,, I'm trying to pro t directly from the printer without using any computer/tablet

BTW I personally only have Android devices... and borrow the Mrs laptop if I need it (which is very rarely).... I might buy a second hand laptop and put a Linux variant on it

"print FROM the printer"  that's foreign to me.

you print normally from a computer, laptop, tablet or whatever.  How on earth do you tell the printer what device to go and look at and what picture to print?

Right so the sell a device that has to go off to a particular web page to fetch some stuff.

They them commit to maintaining that particular web page in that particular format for ever, or at least until they can be sure ALL that particular model of printer are no longer in service.

The list of tv boxes that are now dead because the on line program guide they relied upon is no longer supported is quite long. This printer seems destined to join that list sooner or later.

Sorry for sounding like a dinosaur, but  the idea just sounds bonkers to me, just  like any of this cloud stuff.  sound like the website it needs may have died already?

Noz, it worked fine for me,

maybe you need to check your internet hasnt firewalled it,

PD, its a normal printer, but, it can also wi-fi and can print from email if you send a .pdf (or a similar compatible) format to it,

it can also access HPs website and print certain preformatted pages from there without any outside assistance simply by using its own LCD screen,

even if HP went belly up tomorrow (which is doubtful) then it is still a functional wi-fi printer

We have a HP Deskjet 3520 that has e-print & a Quickforms menu....

TBH I never relay used the quick forms bit..

But just tried printing out a checklist & monthly calander...

All works OK..

And didn't need any internet access..  (I turned our router off!)

Think ours is getting the forms from its own internal firmwear...??

Wife & Son  use the e-print bit from their i-pads...

I mostly just use the wireless direct to our router for bog-standard print & scan!

So dunno why yours wont work????

:popcorn

I may have to try a factory reset :(

But TBH it's a feature that I can live without, just useful sometimes.

I did try going on the Crayola, Disney and others (that we'd never use) ssome wouldn't connect, others said that they weren't supported any more

Noz have you tried switching the printer off for 10secs? I have a hp eprint wifi printer and often I have too switch the printer off and then back on again to get it to connect to router, occasionally the router had to be switched off and on again?

Have you checked the details on the LCD screen for its settings etc?
