My mate is following my example and getting rid of gear we've stored for far too long .
I'm a right part for hinking " Keep this , there'll be another job asking for one of these and we'll have one on the shelf "
5 yrs later I'm thinking " Why are we keeping this effin' thing ?"
So ..12 yrs ago we fitted some Canalis 400V X 60A tap-off trunking to power some one colour print engines.
2 yrs later we took it down and they moved ...did'nt need the trunking so we kept it ......"Come in useful this will "
No it didn't .
12 yrs later my mate decides to remove the "copper" rails and scrap it as steel plus No. 1 copper .
No .
I didn't see this stuff but instead of copper bar/ rails/ tape/ busbar there was just a very light metallic ribbon which you could screw up into a small ball !
What the hell was that stuff ?
