Anyone Seen A Supply Set Up Like This Before?

not a job I am involved in but being discussed on another (not electrical) forum

The description of it is:

"The supply come into the box as a three phase cable head... each one supposed to be 100 amps... even though the supply is only two phase. So the buggers just fed the third 100 amp off the second live cable head.

This then feeds into the 9 way 'Bemco' DFB

9 separate 100 amp fuses are then available for each plot."

It's the supply for 9 holiday lodge plots in southern Scotland.

It's the use of Orange flex that gets me. Never seen anything like that before.

Normal set up round here Dave, Orange concentric is always used internally from the supply connection  to the head & has been for at least 15 years now.

I also have personally  wired (for DNO connection)  & have seen the DNO often tap off a head for a second fuse, both on 1, 2 & 3 phase.
