Anyone know where the cheapest place to get it is? (On the roll).

If you mean the red and black flexi that you use on auto electrical stuff then I have had it in the past from any Lucas/CAV dealer. Cant honestly say if it was the cheapest. How about a motor factor place like partco?

I have the Following (complete) Wiring Diagram for a David Brown 996. and I have put together a Clear Colour Chart of the associated Cable / Wire Colours for it (From an old battered and bruised copy).

I know we have several Auto Electricians on here... Anyone know what the wire sizes and Amperages are on the following wires please?

nos. 17 and 22 are soddin` huge.

as for the lighting; headlights are max. 60W; other lamps 21W except side lights 5W - work `em out, remembering 12V supply!

All other cabling appears to be low current ish - maybe alternator cables bigger,

Tip: if you put a wire in, and it "burns out", it wasn`t big enough!

HTH

p.s. suppliers: look at R. S. components mate.?

From what I have been told, the site for the link I posted, will tell you the correct size of wire for your application.
