Why not? Except for the arguments when everybody can find find a "better" site / price / item!IMHO, someone wants to know something like this; they ask - we answer.

I thought that was the general idea????

I really dont get it,

if I want 20 or 30 downlights cheap then I ask in Q&A where the best deal is that week?

prices tend to change too fast for a hard and fast rule as to good deals.

I once bought 60 downlights from CEF for under 2quid each all in trannies inc, couldnt do it now tho!!!

also a lot depends on how much business you give any given seller at any one time.

so, to mark it up, as a sub forum

It's a good idea in theory, but as we already do this on this site & that we are all decent enough to pass this info around it seems pointless.

Just my tuppence worth. :)
