Hi,

On a job and the bonding is run using 10mm T&E with both 10mm conductors wrapped in green and yellow tape.

Is this ok?

There's no actual Regulation prohibiting it.

Conductors that are coloured Green and Yellow through out their length can only be used for Earthing purposes.

Other conductor colours can be used, as long as they are correctly identified at their terminations. Either by colour or alphanumeric means.

tho IMO perfectly acceptable in the regs if not exactly good practice,(read stupid method!)

You just need to mark the ends, i.e. terminations assuming the only bit of outer sheath stripped is the few inches at each end. Would you mark a conduit run through a cupboard that had an earth cable only in it?

cant see any reason who not.

got to admit i done something similar the other day with a shower cable. would have been very destructive to install earth back to board, so used an old shower cable
