Hello, nice to join your forum. Hopefully, I’ll be able to tap your brains and contribute to discussions in something like equal measure along the way! I’m an English sparks living and working in France, where my work is principally domestic repairs, renovations and the occasional new build. Work, family, my own permanently ongoing farmhouse renovation and a large plot of land to maintain don’t leave much time for too many outside leisure activities, but I enjoy a decent film or book, listening to my old soul, reggae, ska and punk collection (giving my age away there!), watching a bit of sport (boxing, rugby), doing a little easy cycling, as well as enjoying a good old ‘discussion’ with friends over some good food and wine about the state of the world in general, and the shortcomings of various French and British politicians, musicians and sportsmen in particular….
