Hi people, trying to find the correct symbol for a distribution board in compliance with BSEN 60617.

Four cicuits will be fed into the DB.

Searched Google images but it's throwing up loads of weird and wondefult things but what I want!

Is it just a box/rectangle with 4 lines coming out to denote the four circuits?

As far as I know its always been an oblong box with a diagonal line across, same for a dist. bd. Have no idea about BS 60617 !!Deke
It's the new British (Europeon Harmoised) Standard taken over from the old BS 3939 standard for drawing symbols.

Found the answer.

It's a box with X amount of lines coming out of one end to signify the amount of circuits fed from it.

Sorry Bane, I overlooked this thread.

But you found it out in the end. I have the symbol that you are talking about in my college notes somewhere. :|
