Cable Size To Summer house

Hi

I'm going to look at connecting up a summer house tomorrow which the customer says he has run a 10mm 3 core armoured to underground (length of run is 25m). In the summer house there is going to be a 20a radial feeding 2 x double sockets and 3 x single sockets, a 6A circuit feeding 23 x Downlights with 5w led lamps and a supply to a hot tub which I am presuming requires a 32A supply but won't know until tomorrow.

If this is the case, am I correct in thinking that 10mm 3 core armoured is big enough?

Sockets = 20A (rated current of circuit breaker)

Lights = 23 x 100w (2300w) or in reality 23 x 5w (115w)

Hot Tub = 32A  (assumed circuit size)

Total load = 62A / 52.5A

Supply is PME so will be TT at summer house.

ok. So you need to confirm all the salient details then do some calculations on the maximum load AND then state this on your estimate / quote

AND even if the cable does calculate as being suitable put n your quote that you cannot accept responsibility/warranty for the submain as you didn't install it!

It turns out it’s 16mm not 10mm.

Unless they're growing something in the summer house I doubt it will be hitting 20 amps. Is there any eletric heating? Kettle? Fridge?
