hi patch i have a 2 year old female cat. i was standing beside my motorbike this morning and she came up and sprayed on the bike. is this normal ?

can i do anything to stop it. dont fancy ridding around with my saddle bags smelling

of cat p***

I hate cats!

Usually it's marking their territory.

Not sure how you'll stop it? Hosepipe? Water pistol? Shotgun?

Was anything new or different? Has anything changed in the household?

Stop standing by the bike.

Get on it and ride.

See if your cat can spray it then.

nothing has changed i have had the cat from birth.

i have never seen it di this before today. i think i will have to mark my territory

with a steel toe capped boot

Try that! :D

Sorry can't be more help!

Get a dog?

A workmate had this problem with a neighbours cat when I lived in NZ. We worked in a factory that made electric fence energisersd and associated equipment. We borrowed a portable battery powered version. We placed a steel tray on his back porch with a plastic food bowl on it. We attached the earth to the tray and the +ve to the nice moist tinned cat food. We left it on overnight and as far as I know he never had that problem again! Amazing what a 7000V pulse can do to a cat!
