Before anyone says it’s my fault for using them I KNOW!

I have a site with 18 of these 50W PIR Excite/Tamlite flood lights. They have been in 3 years, warranty is 3 years. Warranty finished Oct 1st

In the last 3 years they have failed frequently, either
Dead
Flashing slow
Flashing fast
Flashing so fast they make you feel ill
Dead
Constantly on
On for a few seconds then off

We were advised to fit an SPD to the board ( 3 phase and NOT cheap )

We now have a further 2 failed, 1 flasher 1 dead just out of warranty

Fun fact. These are installed INDOORS in a warehouse and are used to illuminate picking bays. There are periods where some may not be activated for days due to order-pick patterns

Has anybody else had this issue, it’s it just me, is it ghosts?

"Fortunately" ( or not ) these are in one of my sons warehouses so the labour element of constantly changing these is not really an issue

Project required 18 units. To date I have been supplied with 32 and credited with 28

what voltage is the site, I am of the opinion many floodlights are specced too low, and given a few voltage spikes, it takes them down. Other issues I've encountered is KSR battens - the PCBs were specced at 30C so during a short heat wave.....
