Any one know WHAT IS  the short circuit capacity of the Crabtree C50 Type 2 MCB'S.

Cheers for all responses!

Sounds the wrong way round to me

White text = M3

Yellow text =M4.5

You could just Google this for clarification as I know it has been asked on just about every electrical forum at some point or another. It's where I found the answer to the same question.

A quote from another learned colleague, whom I have had a lot of info on C50's from.

" If the paint in the handle is coloured white they are rated at 3kA and if the paint is yellow they are 4.5kA."

So, whilst the quote from Rob, sounded right, I'm tone deaf, I knew that the white/colour corresponded to 3/4.5 but only guessed the rest I admit.

I could not remember which way around it was.
