I can't be doing with chrome, it keeps crashing on Ubuntu for me 

Haven't used it for months.

We stopped using chromium on our ubuntu lappy as there are a lot of websites that it does not work properly with.  we have firefox and Opera installed instead.

It's basically the same, except the closed source bits have been removed so that it's available for open source. That was my understanding of it anyway.

I thought Chromium was an open source browser, that google then took and bastardised to create Chrome.

It now seems they have bastardised chromium as well.

Have aword with Barclays Digital Enemas.......they seem to think they know everything!

Or a cynical view may be that they are getting all the Silver surfers to be Web savvy so they can shut all the high street branches
