Commercial rates - out of hours

I've been asked to do a job in a shop, however it can only be shut between 6pm on a Saturday until 8am Monday,,, the job will take me about a day and a half so I will be there on the Saturday evening and all day Sunday.. It's also a good 30 to 40 minute drive away...

For a full day domestic job I charge

I think that rate is about right for the present climate Patch. Up till November last year I was quoting at

I always tier my working hours.

Normal working hours 8am to 6pm = normal rates

Out of hours 6pm to 10pm = normal rates =half again.

Now your taking the () hours 10pm to 8am = double the day rate plus if over night additional expenses.

However you still have to remain competative.

If I did 5pm to 9pm on Sat evening and 9am to 5pm on Sunday, then that would be time and half???

I think I'd be happy enough with that!!

Deke - I see that if you multiply that upto 48 weeks comes to
