Does anyone have any experience in contacting EDF for supply characteristics or to let them know seals have been snipped ?

Best numbers, etc ... I've been trying to speak to them for a three days now to find out service fuse size and to let them know I've snipped seals but either end up at the end of a dark tunnel of 'press button options' or 'computer says no' idiot ...

I work for Southern Electric and whenever we need to report things to edf I always use this number 0800 085 5290. Generally answered pretty quick, they're not the most helpful of people tho so be warned!!

Phoned it and got straight through, incredible .. only to be bounced to my supplier .. ! :|

Right hand, left hand ...

Your supplier should just get the meter man to re-seal them next visit.

Ian.

done a job today requiring fuse to be removed.... when they changed the meter a while back they didnt do a good job at sealing it so i managed to remove fuse, and the seal was still there for it to hang by so it didnt get lost.... youd be surprised at how many are sealed like this! failing that, just chop it off. maybe re-seal if your that bothered
