Hello everyone, I've recently purchased an LED wall light with the idea of converting it to a plug in mains socket light.

Bought it to fit in my daughter's bedroom so she can use it read books in bed.

Problem: to fit it where we need it using the internal wiring would create major work, however there is a double mains socket under the bed. The light has a non-replaceable 5 Watt LED 330 lumen bulb and has a 3 setting touch switch.

So, it is possible to convert a light like this to use the mains socket please? Any advice on how to achieve this would be very much appreciated.

TIA.

Ric

Drill hole in housing.

Fit appropriate cable entry gland.

Insert cable.

Wire up and plug in.

looking at the photo, it looks like it will have exposed wiring at the back if its not attached to a wall. otherwise, as above

Thank you. I thought it might be as simple as that, but just wanted to check first as I didn't want to blow the non-replaceable bulb.
