Cooker hood

Hi, i have been asked to wire a cooker hood, i am going to spur off the ring, with 2.5mm to a switched FCU, with a 3 amp fuse. My question is, should the cooker hood have a flex, or will i have to use twin from the FCU to it.

Haven't had chance to look at it, but just wondered?

most cooker hoods come with a few mtr flex. otherwise a bit 3c flex (or 2c, as many are DI) will do

many cooker hoods are double insulated. adding an earth can introduce a potential that never would have existed

.75 or 1mm will do. they use very little power and should have a 3A fuse.
