cordless combi drill?

Hiya mate. I'd stick to SDS for drilling any kind of masonry. Combi drills don't seem to cut the mustard. Especially if a lot of stuff is made from stone like round here. :_|

Having said that, I'd go for Makita or Bosch as my top two. :D

Hi Frosty,

If it's back boxes in celcon block that your after fixing, then just a cheapie black and decker will do!

Anything else more meatier than that, then stick with the 24V bosch/deWalt etc.

just bought the Makita Anniversary model 18v yesterday

pretty good deal

iv got the same drill, dont buy an extra battery off ebay the one i got wasent made by makita lol.
