correct procedure

meter has to be moved from original position to new meter box, about 8m in distance.

new tails are to be run under a 'floating floor' in new extension

what do i need to do/provide for leccy board prior and after the moving and what cable would be best to use?

where am i allowed/should i put the switched fused isolator?

You have to supply and fix the meter box these days , and , depending on their quote, the trenching too, and a hockey stick down the wall. Supply and fit an 80 amp domestic switch fuse in the top right corner of the meter box . 25mm meter tails 6181Y under the floor in some large PVC conduit . Plus earth of course. Should do it !!

thanks deke, pretty much what i was thinking but me mate put me off by saying sf iso couldnt be put in meter box...

In the midlands area they used to say only their stuff in the box but they will accept a switch fuse ( No choice really)
