i have a question i hope somebody can help me with. i am using a crabtree 60947-3 main breaker and i have checked in bs7671 and it states that all breakers used in domestic consumer units must be double pole. the crabtree 60947-3 does not have the added bs number listed in bs7671 and states single pole on it. now when i questioned crabtree about this they sent me the details stating that it is a single pole breaker with a switched nuetral???????? to me this is a double pole switch is it not???????? whot are they trying to cover there arses on????? i have tried the breaker with cross polarity and it does break both poles. can anyone clarrify if this is acceptable to bs7671 standards or not as i am a bit confused about the " single pole with switched nuetral" on a single pole devise. thanks for any answers you can give
