DAB site radio

I need a new radio - want a DAB if poss. Can you get such a thing that is suitable for site?

i dont know of a hefty duty DAB, but i can recommend the roberts freeplay about 60ish and the rechargable battery is long lasting and it also has a solar pannel, pure also make some good rechargeable ones

A DAB might be a bit expensive to take onsite to get a liberal coating of plaster dust , lumps of compo and splattered in paint. If its just for pop music a cheapo would do.

"Pop" music - I want a DAB to avoid most of the "Builder FM" stations!

Buy a cheap one, sling it in the bin when you drop it\stand on it\knock it off the bench and buy another. That's what I do, or I would but so far I haven;t knackered the cheap ones.

Sorry Lilman, I just assumed and I shouldn't have . Builder FM gets up my nose too , I don't really like having to work all day listening to the constant nonsensical babbling of inane disc jockeys or whatever they call them these days, oooing and aaaahing about the latest tuneless commercial carp churned out hour after hour interspersed with even more nonsensical and irritating advertisments .

Lilman , are you a fan of BBC 7 by any chance ? This week they are running Paul Temple and Sherlock Holmes .

i had a dab radio latest 4 weeks !!!!!!

but a builder i have worked with last week has a 'pure' one ,,small compact and have been listening to planet rock

but 'absolute' seems to be ok
