Doing an ECIR  and have a 3 phase supply circuit to a machine on a type C breaker but loop reading is .50 and max acceptable by the regs is .35 I can’t really change the mcb to a type B as the start up current will most likely trip it, what are my options, increase the cable size perhaps?

increase CSA. move machine closer. rewire to a different DB

if you are tetsing through the cable terminals, you may be getting a slightly higher reading than actual.
