As promised, Guys - Here is a map of ALL UK DNO companies, includiing contact details and the areas they cover.

For reporting theft of electric (Electricity theft - Revenue Protection).

Admin, The North West is now Electricity North West, they have bought out United Utilities and are responsible for the Electricity distribution system now. I'll find their phone number etc shortly

The south west, in cornwall is covered by Western power distribution, in bodmin and when I ring the call centre, I go through to Wales no less. :Applaud

I going to do a consumer change shortly for my 1st assessment, what i wanted to ask is do i contact DNO to disconnect the supply? Just worried that i might be asked by the assesser how i isolated the supply before doing the work.

What area are you in some DNO will install an isolator some won't?

you could always add your own isolator of the same as what DNO use... NEDL use Wylex REC2's

The number listed for Scottish & Southern Energy is wrong. It should be 0845 3002141 or better still, 0800 0483515

That is why I put the map up in the first place. I thought the e-mail addresses under the phone numbers gave a clue?

I should have read the post properly. I thought it was a handy directory of the general number for all the DNO's. I just wanted to report some sub standard meter tails.
