Downlighters .5m clearance for beam

Is this just vertical or is it 180 deg.

the instructions state .5m from illuminated surface

where the customer wants this one downlighter its .35m below and to the side.

50w is the value of the light

Stick a 35w lamp in, big difference in the heat output.

Alternative would be to fit "coolfit" lamp. TBH, I`d use sealed fitting, if the beam is within 500mm of the beam.

If you know which beam is which???
