drive way lights

Hi, ive been asked to fix lights in a drive way being built, 1st time, the thing is when ever i do outside lights i run S.W.A to j.b then flex to lights but won't be able to do this under lights, do i run it all in flex (if so what type) many thanks

you will need some kind of armoured cable. flex will be no good. maybe consider split con - much easier to terminate, but not as protective as SWA

I used this when I wired up half a dozen "postlights" on a driveway recently. Ran it in plastic conduit buried 12" under the edge row of pavers (the lights were in this row). SWA was just too fat to run 1in/1out up the posts.

Where do you get info about for doing your cable calcs as SY cable is not in the Regs?
