In the office again.
Screwdriver selection will probably be a good place to start.

Choice of wire cutters / strippers / pliers.

Hacksaw (large and junior)

plasterboard saw.

Stanley knife.

Meter(s)

Cordless drill with large selection of bits (wod / metal / mason)

SDS drill with selection of bits and chisels.

4.5" angle grinder. Possibly 9" as well.

Jigsaw. Circular saw.

Handsaw.

Tape measure, chalk line, level. Possibly laser level.

Steps.

Hammer (std & lumpa) & chisel/bolster selection

Holesaw selection.

PLUS (dependant on area of work):

super-rods

heat gun.

trowels, buckets, float, sponge.

I`m sure to have missed a few stuff...... (including something blindingly simple)

Never posessed a lockoff for domestic.
I only got some recently..

following a comment at my last inspection assessment..

one that locks over the toggle lever itself & one that slots though the little holes in the MCB..

less than a fiver each!

I did actually use one a few weeks back on a 17th compatible board I was doing...

I hadn't got all the stickers on, and had temp power on to keep some lights & fridge going as I worked around swapping circuits over..

Cuz of the way it was split across the two RCDs kept on getting myself confused with my upstairs & downstairs circuits etc..

so I ended up sticking a lock off on the circuit I was working on to stop me accidentally switching it back on until I had completed that days alterations..

I actually found it quite useful! :)
