Hi all, If I am installing an emergency light does it need to be wired in FP200 throughout or can it be wired in PVC? Also should it be on an individual circuit or part of the main lighting circuit? My training did not cover emergency lighting except in text. Is there a certain qualification I need to install them? Thanks. 👍

Basic Em light on circuit example.

One office has 6 lights, one of the 6 lights with Em fitted at door way maybe. It will be wired on the same circuit within that room and a test key switch at switch position or at either same room or DB cupboard.

Only turning off the power to the Em Perm feed. Do not isolate the rest of the office lights.

The above fitting will contain a Perm for EM side(key switched for test only). Switch live, Neutral and CPC
