Update:

Shell have told me that they have “identified a fault with the meter power failure” within the charge point, and so the charge point would need to be replaced. It is out of warranty.

I am concerned that the charge point is fine, and the issue is with the PME/PEN fault detection unit.

Should I get an assessment from an electrician first to confirm there are no issues with the rest of the system before forking out for a new charge point?

I can get the stylish Andersen EV unit with free installation if I’m upgrading my unit, but this free installation would only be possible I guess if there are no issues with the current installation, just the charge point.

Cheers
