Experiences with Metrel Testers

Doing a periodic on a department store right now and it's earning its money, the probe trigger is superb, no more balancing acts and reaching for the test button.

The expensive one has storage and download capabilities and also has built in help guides. Also think it is fully user flashable so you can update it as the regs change. The software comes with it fully useable and you can pay for an upgrade to NICEIC approved certs if you are member.

OTTOMH that is, seems to look like it.

I just couldnt work out why one was so much more expensive,

I thought I was missing something obvious.

I've got the MI3000 and it has none of that. I was n the wholesalers the other week with the Metrel rep and they have a new one out in the same snazzy looking case as the MI3000 with all the new gadgets on it. Decent price for what it was, mine nearly went on eBay the next day.
