Fault finding

Doing some work for college and just a quick question for you guys. If doing a fault and u solve your problem what or if any test sheets do u give the occupier maybe a minor works not sure.

Some electricians don't go to this trouble, sometimes the clients not interested in this particular piece of paper, but keep a copy for yourself, regardless.

If your not altering the existing circuit, then detail as such.
